Tappets

Tappets are manufactured on Special Purpose Machines which gives us the best result in terms of reliability and Dimensional Tolerance. We are giving the crowning on the wear face of the Tappet.

All of our Tappets are MIRROR CNC GRINDED on the wear face which gives the better edge to the Lobes of the Cam Shaft.

Material and Hardness

Tappets are made from Precision Chilled Casting, SAE 8620 material. The hardness given to all the tappets are above 58-60 so as to prevent the wear face wear out.

Crowning

We are giving the crowning on the wear face of the Tappet for 10-14 microns.
